Before establishing Asiapoint, she worked for multi-national company and was responsible for establishing their offices in both Shanghai and Singapore. She has received numerous awards for her competency and work.

Valerie Lim
Legal Consultant

With 19 years of experience in corporate administration practice, Valerie's work experience includes over 6 years with Arthur Andersen where she set up the Corporate Secretarial Department and grew the business successfully.

From 1992 to 1993, she started a Singapore company with a former colleague which has grown into a mid-sized firm. She then headed Abogado Pte Ltd, the secretarial division of an international law firm, Baker and McKenzie, bringing in millions of dollars for the practice.

She brings to Asiapoint extensive knowledge in corporate administration and legal practices. She is also a director of Gateway 21 and a proud honouree of the Spirt Of Enterprise Award.

She has worked for reputable multinational companies such as Reuters, Telerate, Dow Jones, Bonvests Holdings and Oberoi Imperial; where she has successfully spearheaded and proactively participated in various global and regional project initiatives ranging from project planning, control, implementation to project completion.

As such, she possesses good cross-cultural management skills and gained extensive experience in Change Management Initiatives involving mergers & acquisition projects, integration of people, policies, workplace and systems. Her strong leadership and organizational abilities also enable her to successfully organize many large-scale corporate events and conferences.

Joan Olive Tan

Joan Olive Tan has 10 years of experience in the overseas relocation of both private companies and individuals. She has acquired extensive knowledge on the relocation process and what is required to organize a move.
